Team News
Stratton United has grown from just one u7 team three years ago, to five teams competing in two different leagues. This growth is a tribute to the coaches, players and parents who have given their time, effort and trust to the club.

 

Our youngest team is the Under 9s and they’re managed by Kevin Phippen and Rob Walker. The team compete in the Midsomer Norton Youth Football League (MSNYFL) once again this season.
Under 9s is for boys and girls in school years 3 and 4 from September ’24 and matches are 7-a-side.

We are currently seeking a team sponsor

 


The Under 10s also play in the MSNYFL. The team is managed by Simon Matthews and is sponsored by the Poundland Foundation.
Under 10s is for children in school year 5 from September ’24 and is 7-a-side.

The Under 11s team is also in the Midsomer Norton league. The team is  managed by Chris Bridges and Dean Romain and players are from school year 6.
Under 11s is 9-a-side, matches are 60 minutes long and usually kick off at 2.30pm on Sundays.

Winter training for the u8s, u9s and u10s is every Friday 5.00-6.00pm at Writhlington floodlit astro.

Under 12s and Under 13 girls training is every Wednesday 5.00-6.00pm at Writhlington floodlit astro.

 

Our u11s are sponsored by Plumbergy UK

Our Under 12s play 9-a-side and are managed by Colin Jolley and Simon Matthews. Matches are Sundays at 2.30pm and games are 60 minutes. Under 12s is for players in school year 7. Training is on Wednesdays 6-7pm at Writhlington floodlit astro.

 

The Under 13 Girls team compete in the Somerset Girls’ League. Matches are Saturday mornings and home games are played at Oakhill. Training is 6-7pm on Wednesdays at Writhlington floodlit astro.
